Ok so when will everyone besides the faithful(Janet, Felman and Susanna) begin commenting? Or is it no one is reading this? These pics are from our ride back from the Saigon river last night - had no choice but to let them drive us as the one guy driving me blocked traffic on a 6 lane road so we could get across to the river.
Should get Kino's pssport today so we can fly to Hanoi. Certain prejudice against the north here - wonder why? Hope to have better access there!

Yeah...you both looked thrilled....but what a crazy ride that had to be!!! Your heading into the traffic...they are motorcycles, you a mere human powered bicycle with a seat on front. YIKES!
just how fast can these human taxi's go? Do you close your eyes and hope for the best..or like I'd would do..keep em open and help the "driver"? But I'm sure I'd be saying omg,omg,omg..

I am following every minute of this journey! I just didn't think anything I had to say would add much and it hadn't really occured to me that hearing from us would be supportive and encouraging. Duh. Sorry. You seem to be handling everything so well enjoying the challenges of your adventure. That said...I can hardly stand it, every new photo of you with your beautiful little Kino makes my eyes fill up. Molly thinks the Lightning McQueen shirt is absolutely brilliant. We are on spring break in Florida, the first thing I'm doing when we get back to Atlanta is head to Buford Highway and get a bowl of Pho, don't you just love that stuff? I have heard that Durian is like a really nice cheese, that you just have to get past the smell. Your experience seems not so much. I love you and am so happy for all three of you, keep the updates coming. Love Laura
