Timing just seemed to work out in the planning of another music event at the Inn. We welcomed a larger group to catch the vibe of the cafe with a vocalist Susan Harper, a keyboard player Shawn, Gary on guitar, Ksin on drums and of course "the man" as they refer to him, Mike Deasy Jr on sax. The cafe sound was so amazing - they want to use the space to record in the future.
The Westport Jazz Festival is now in the planning stages with all band members very excited about the Inn possibilities.
Gary by the way wants to live on the one of our beat up boats!
We will get up very early in the am and race back to Seattle for the work scene. Still need to devote time to finding a hotel for our time in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Hanoi. Tonight for sure :)
Janet and Jeff (my sister and bro-in-law) and their friends Colleen and Llyod were our real guests this weekend - didn't get a golf game at the Tokeland course, but still managed to enjoy themselves!
Steve managed to get the plumbing hooked up in the kitchen as well as install the cafe bathroom toilet!
Back to Seattle in am to do the work thing as well as continue prep for Vietnam. Wow seems so weird to write that!
